Atiku, Nigerians mourn death of comic legend, Baba Suwe

<blockquote data-quote="Delicious" data-source="post: 3510" data-attributes="member: 178"><p>[ATTACH=full]1046[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p>Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has mourned the death of Nigerian Comic legend, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe.</p><p></p><p>The legendary actor <a href="https://dailypost.ng/2021/11/22/nigerian-comedy-legend-baba-suwe-is-dead/" target="_blank">passed away</a> on Monday after a long battle with an illness.</p><p></p><p>Baba Suwe was born on August 22, 1958 and was married to comedienne Omoladun Omidina, who died in September 2009.</p><p></p><p>He dominated the Yoruba movie industry for decades, featured in several movies and bagged many awards.</p><p></p><p>Atiku mourning the actor thanked him for bringing joy into most Nigerian homes.</p><p></p><p>His tweet read: “ Babatunde Omidina, aka Baba Suwe, thank you so very much for bringing so much happiness and joy into our homes.
