Both include a faster graphics processing chip with 18% faster speeds.Both models come in Midnight Starlight Blue, Purple and Product RED, and have an upgraded 12MP rear camera. They also ditch the SIM card tray for the first time, replacing them with eSIM cards. There's also upgraded battery life, new Fitness features, and moreThen there's the question of price. iPhone 14 will cost £799 while the iPhone 14 Plus will cost £899. You'll be able to preorder them from September 9 and get them by September 16 and October 7, respectively.However, you'd be forgiven for thinking that not all that much is different, and you'd be right. But the iPhone 14 undoubtedly marks a step forward for Apple as it brings its standard models closer in line with its premium ones.<h3>iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max: kiss goodbye to the notch</h3>As predicted by many, the iPhone 14 Pro series is the first to<a href="https://www.dailystar.co.uk/tech/news/iphone-14-pro-finally-rid-27895454" target="_blank"> ditch the controversial 'screen notch</a>' in favour of a pill-shaped design housing the camera and key sensors.This will apply to the Pro and Pro Max models only, with the standard iPhone 14 and 14 Pro models retaining the notch for now.The coolest part of this is that the 'pill' dynamically changes shape and size as you receive notifications, so you don't have to drag down from the top of the screen to check them anymore.There's also a ton of internal hardware changes, including an upgraded new processor for better gaming and AI applications, as well as a new range of colours: Space Black, Silver, Gold and Purple.The Pro and Pro Max come in 6.1" and 6.8" respectively, and feature a range of new screen upgrades (including an 'always-on' display) as well as a new A16 Bionic processor for faster performance and better photo quality via the Pro Camera system.As always, there's new camera upgrades including a 48MP rear camera sensor.The iPhone 14 Pro will cost £999 while the iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at £1099. It includes new health and temperature sensors designed to monitor your heart health, fitness, and in the case of female users, menstrual cycle trackers.There's also new 'Crash Detection' which will automatically call the emergency services and give them your location if you're involved in a car crash.Other new features include 18-hour battery life, a Low Power Mode (which extends it to 36 hours), international roaming, a new range of wristbands, fast charging, and more.Meanwhile, the 'rugged' Apple Watch Ultra is designed for explorers, triathletes, and general outdoors-types, like Bear Grylls (not that he would use one).
