Reactions as winner of Cross River Local Govt beauty pageant receives star prize of 'new car'

The star prize of a Camry car was presented to the winner of Miss Ipem Ihihe 2021 Pageantry held in Bekwarra Local Government Council in Cross River state on Friday, September 3. The Mr & Miss Ipem Ihihe 2021 Pageantry was one of the numerous programs held to mark the Bekwarra Cultural Festival (Ipem Ihime) 2021.

The winners with wife of the LG chairman Nine contestants contended for the crowns but at the end of the event, Miss Agene Mary Oyina of Ukpah Ward, emerged the winner and went home with the star prize while Ogah Fidelis Ekunkefrom Ibiaragidi Ward, won the Mr Ipem Ihihe and was presented with a refrigerator. Meanwhile, reactions have trailed the 'star prize' presented to the winner, with many people poking fun at the car. One John Ogar claimed that the car was taken to the mechanic workshop today after it broke down. See more photos and reactions below...
