Application for $2000 Kekere Storytellers Fund for all Entrepreneurs.
The Opportunity.
The Kekere Storytellers Fund pays micro-grants to the following entrepreneurs:
content creators.
wordsmiths.
performance artists.
visual artists.
And journalists to create and publish unique and compelling content that shifts prevailing stereotypical narratives about their communities or subject.
The ANF’s way of ensuring that funding, which is limited and rarely accessed by up-and-coming storytellers, reaches everyone with a compelling story to tell.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the $2000 ANF grant, you will have to be one of the following.
Bloggers
musicians
illustrators
graphic designers
scriptwriters
vloggers
podcasters
playwrights
photographers
documentary filmmakers
choreographers
poets
journalists
authors
producers
artists
and publishers based in Africa.
And also to be eligible, Applicants must be of age below 35 years and produce ground-breaking work and creatively challenging harmful narratives within their local and digital communities.
Amount of grang ranges from $500 to $2000.
Deadline for application is the of 26 July 2021
