For the past two nights, Wizkid has completely shut down London’s 02 Arena with performances that will go down in the history books. From surprise appearances by international Superstars, Chris Brown, Ella Mai and Tems to an exciting to bringing to the stage Africa’s leading music stars including Blaqbonez, Lojay, Buju and Oxlade, it was definitely a night to remember for the tens of thousands Wizkid fans in London, United Kingdom.
Flytime Music Festival recently announced that on December 21, Wizkid will also be hosting his first Nigerian headline show since 2019, at Lagos’s Eko Convention Center, and tickets are already selling fast! This comes at no surprise, judging from the outstanding turnout of his recent shows at the 02 Arena.
The two time Grammy nominee and ‘Made in Lagos’ artist will close out what has been a stellar year with a return to where it all began for him, Lagos, Nigeria with his very own show. Fans from all over the world can expect an electric show packed with unique Afrobeat sounds and vibes only Lagos city can produce.
STARBOY LIVE will take the audience on the inspirational journey of Wizkid – his musical evolution from hustling on the streets of Lagos to becoming a Grammy Award winning artist and Global Superstar.
Wizkid’s headline show, STARBOY LIVE, marks Day 1 of the Flytime Music Festival which brings together a lineup of rising, contemporary and legendary African and International artists to one Stage, over 4 days. Flytime has also announced that Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged will hold on December 23rd and feature the best African acts of the year including Lojay, Buju, Rema, CKay, Fireboy, Teni, Adekunle Gold and more. The festival closes with a bang on Day 4, December 24th with a celebration of the decade-long career of Davido with A DECADE OF DAVIDO.
First Release Tickets for STARBOY LIVE are SOLD-OUT, however the Second Release Tickets are available exclusively on Clane.com/Flytime. Tables are sold only on Tickets.FlytimeMusicFestival.com.
To maintain COVID-19 protocols, limited tickets are available for sale and admittance to the venue will require a proof of vaccination or a valid negative COVID-19 test (done within 72 hours), among other measures.
